This early BT-7 was recently the subject of a extensive ground up restoration in our shop.  This car was rescued from another restoration shop in Vermont after a five year delay, tens of thousands wasted dollars, stalled restoration, improper structural repairs and improper fitting of patches in the body.  The restoration shop was selected cause it was near the clients home and they worked on a lot of British cars.  The client later realized that just cause a shop works on British cars and says that they are a restorer, does not mean they can restore a Healey. 

The car was a complete basket case when we sent in our crew and our specially equipped enclosed car hauler to collect it from the prior restorer. The car was collected from Vermont in May 2009 and was completed and returned October 2009 for the end of the fall driving season.  Our restoration included the complete restoration of the Chassis, Body, Interior, Engine, Transmission, Rear end, Hydraulics, Suspension, Electrical system, and the Hardtop.  Client reports " it's fast and runs like its new" " Did I mention I LOVE MY CAR!"
