1967 MGB
This 1967 MGB roadster finished in British
Racing Green with a Black leather interior and white piping was the
subject of a complete ground up restoration in our shop. It has
been completely rebuilt and restored to number one condition.
This MGB received a major service from our shop 10 years ago and was
in excellent shape. We sold it to a client in Long Island, NY. Two
weeks after we completed the car it was backed into while parked.
The resulting damage was a bent rear bumper and a minor dent to the
rear panel, a $800 insurance check was received. The car was
delivered to a local British car shop that agreed to perform the two
day job. The bumper was replaced, the rear panel replaced, and the
car prepped for paint. Unfortunately, the paint was never applied,
and the car sat inside this shop for ten years. We were recently
contacted by the shop owner to see if we wanted to buy the car back
from the owner, who was finally fed up with the ten year delay in
delivery.
Engine was disassembled and received replacement bearings, rings,
gaskets and seals.
Rebuilt Overdrive MGB transmission was installed from later MGB with
new engine plate.
