1953 Jaguar XK120

This 1953 Jaguar XK 120 OTS is currently undergoing a ground up restoration in our shop and will be completed for December 2010 delivery.  These are shots of the car before the restoration began in early June of 2010.

History:  This car was restored back in 1980 and 1981 by the prior owner.  Upon completion of the restoration the car was campaigned thru out the New Jersey car show circuit until the owners death in 1991.  This car won numerous shows thru-out New Jersey and was delivered to our shop with about 40 trophies.  We purchased the car from the Estate of the prior owner. The car had been stored inside since 1991.

We checked out the car upon its arrival to our shop and found it was in excellent condition but needed to be taken apart and restored due to the amount of time it had not been driven. We decided to perform a complete ground up restoration.

The car is receiving a ground up, nut and bolt restoration, including the following:

Rebuilt number matching engine.

Rebuilt transmission

Rebuilt suspension

Rebuilt and new Hydraulic system

New fuel system

New wiring harness

Reconditioned cooling system

Re-dipped chrome
